From June 25 to 26, 2026, the 2026 Low-Altitude Economy Industry Development Conference & eVTOL Technology Innovation Forum, themed “Forging Synergies, Empowering Commercial Aviation,” was successfully held in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. The event brought together representatives from government authorities, industry enterprises, research institutions, and industry associations to engage in in-depth discussions on key topics such as low-altitude airspace management, technological innovation, and commercialization pathways—collectively charting a new vision for the development of the low-altitude economy.

As an innovative company in the tilt-rotor eVTOL sector, SKYLA was invited to participate. Dr. Cai Chuanjun, Chief Scientist of SKYLA, delivered a keynote speech at the forum, sharing insights on the future prospects, real-world challenges, and technological evolution of urban air mobility (UAM).

With 37 years of experience in the aviation industry and deep involvement in multiple international aerospace collaboration projects, Dr. Cai has accumulated extensive expertise in aircraft systems engineering and full-aircraft development.

In his speech, he emphasized that large-scale deployment of eVTOLs in urban environments requires meeting aviation-grade standards across critical dimensions—including safety, environmental adaptability, and operational coverage. He stressed that achieving this demands systemic breakthroughs in aerodynamic design, flight control, propulsion systems, materials and structures, and airworthiness certification—areas on which he provided a comprehensive overview.

Thanks to its strong aviation heritage, solid technical foundation, and clear industrialization roadmap, SKYLA was honored with the “Aerospace & Air Mobility Rising Star Award” during the conference—a recognition that underscores the industry’s confidence in its innovation capabilities and growth potential.
